Ken Lever and Charmaine Eggberry to Join Board of Newly Public Company
London & Miami, April 7, 2016 – Blue Prism, the developer of scalable, enterprise-strength software robots and pioneer of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software, today announced the addition of two new board members following its March 18th debut on the AIM of the London Stock Exchange. Ken Lever and Charmaine Eggberry both join as non-executive directors effective immediately, expanding the board to six directors, four of whom are independent.
Ken was most recently CEO of Xchanging PLC, a specialist business processing and technology-led services company. Recently acquired by CSC for more than $700 million, Xchanging is active in 42 countries with about 7,000 employees. In addition to bringing a wealth of city, technology and finance experience to the board, as CEO of Xchanging, Ken was also a customer of Blue Prism. He is an ex-partner of Arthur Andersen and has held senior executive director roles in many listed companies including Alfred McAlpine PLC, Albright & Wilson PLC and Tomkins PLC. Ken was a member of the Accounting Council of the Financial Reporting Council and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
Charmaine brings deep global marketing, sales and distribution expertise to the company’s board. She serves as a non-executive director and committee chair on the boards of GB Group PLC, Avanti Communications PLC and is chairperson of Buzzmove. She is a founder, board member and trustee of The Marketing Academy, a not-for-profit organization promoting U.K. and Australian talent in marketing and advertising. Additionally, as CEO of Plan B, Charmaine invests in early stage digital start-ups. Previously, Charmaine was global senior vice president at Nokia and managing director and vice president, EMEA at Research In Motion (BlackBerry). She also led Wayra, the digital accelerator and was a non-executive director of Wayra UnLtd, a joint venture between the U.K. Government and Telefónica.
