Today, Blue Prism is attending the Association of British Insurers (ABI) Data Conference, an inaugural event marking the rise of big data in the insurance industry. Held at the BFI Southbank in London, insurance providers, customers, politicians and regulators will gather to understand technology’s impact and applications in the insurance sector.
Symphony Ventures, a partner of Blue Prism, will also be in attendance, co-sponsoring a special breakout session titled “Claims in the digital world.”
Together, Blue Prism and Symphony will outline how insurance providers are able to leverage robotic process automation to support policy migration and operational efficiencies in the overall claims experience – creating value for customers and a vital differentiator in a competitive marketplace. In years to come and with advent of RPA and other automation software, insurance providers will likely gain new, innovative capabilities resulting in pre-warnings for weather catastrophes, and virtual assistants used for claims handling.
A panel discussion will follow the presentation, chaired by ABI Emerging Risks Policy Adviser Ankur Vora. Andrew Burges, consulting director for Symphony Ventures, will sit on the panel, as well as Phil Churchman, CIO, EMEA AP, Crawford & Company; Dean Witherington, claims BI manager, Zurich Financial Services and Irene van den Brink, business development director, InShared Nederland B.V.
